Doesn't it look yummy?

I have another layout I want to share with you! This layout is about my beautiful daughter and her lovely bridesmaids.  I chose a paper from the Blue Fern Garden collection. I really wanted to pick up the pinks and greens in my daughters wedding bouquet.

I used a Prima stencil that had daisy type flowers on it to mimic the Gerber daisies in her bouquet and colorized them with different mists, using a paint brush, after I had stenciled with modeling paste. I used the mist from the kit and a few from my stash to change the color of a number of the flowers, giving a variety of different pinks.

Here are some close ups:
To create this layout I used the Main Kit, the Flower add on, the embellishment add on, and the MMM kit add on. From my own stash I used: stencil, modeling paste, mists, gesso, metal dies, crinkle seam binding, thread, border punches, leaves.

Tomorrow I will be back to share the March sketch with you, and my take on it! Can't wait!

Be Blessed!

Sneak Peaks with C'est Magnifique Kits!

Hi!  I've been waiting to show you what I have been doing with the March Kit from C'est Magnifique Kits.  This kit has been so much fun to work with, and is so versatile! Its amazing how many different looks you can get with it!

My first layout I want to share with you is called "Yes". The photo is a "selfie" my future daughter-in-law took of her engagement ring. I just loved it so much that I had to scrap it! In this layout I am working with the papers from UHK- just beautiful- and I really love the resist side of them

To create this layout I used the Main Kit, the Flower Add On, the Embellishment Add On, and the MMM Kit. From my stash I used: mask, molding paste, mists, archival ink, stamp, micro beads, die, border punch, cardstock, crinkled seam binding, fibers, leaves, glossy accents.

For my second project I decided to alter this Tim Holtz clock I had sitting around for ages. I first primed it with gesso and then painted it with white craft paint. I then dribbled mist down the sides and stamped it a bit

To create this altered object I used the Main Kit, the Flower add on, the Embellishment Kit, and the MMM Kit. From my stash: clipart, gesso, craft paint, mist, archival ink, crinkle seam binding and fibers.

Close ups:

The third project I am sharing with you today is a layout in a Clean and Simple style. This is my great niece Lucia, and she looks like she is off into another world. I got this photo from my SIL's Facebook page and the photo was taken by Petit Oiseau Photography.  So very cute! I did a bunch of fussy cutting, some random stamping and
around the outer edges of the layout I used an embossing enamel to tie into the photo frame.
To create this layout I used the Main Kit, the Flower Add on, the Embellishment Add On and the MMM Kit. From my stash: doily, archival ink, border punch, crackle accents, embossing enamel

Close Ups:

That's it for now, and I hope you enjoyed what I shared. I have more comping up in the near future that I can't wait to share!
Be Blessed!

Love ~C'est Magnifique Kts and the Feb. sktech!

It's time to show you the gorgeous Feb sketch for C'est Magnifique! This is a photo of my hubby and I, taken during a family photo shoot we had done in November. I used a lot of the Deco Art Snow Tex that came in the main kit as I wanted my layout to have a wintry, blustery effect. I really like the way it turned out!

To create  this layout I used the main kit, the flower add on, the embellishment add on, and the MMM kit. From my own stash: stencil, homemade modeling paste, leaves, border punches, gesso, black pen, drywall tape.

This is the stunning sketch designed by Michelle Singh. You can check out her work here.

 close ups:
close up of the flower cluster. I dabbed on lots of the Snow Tex on the flowers and leaves.

A close up on the Blue Fern Studios swirly chippie. I first painted it with gesso and then dabbed on lots of the Snow Tex.

Lots of Snow Tex built up around this flower and ribbon accent....looks just like one of the snow banks we have at home, just a whole lot smaller!

I added more Snow Tex to this Prima window and around the top part of the photo...the wind sure must of being blowing hard to get inside the window!

I used the stencil that came in the MMM kit and home made modeling paste. I got the recipe from Gabrielle Pollacco

Just a closer look at the photo I used.

I hope that you will give the sketch a try!

Be sure and check the C'est Magnifique BLOG  to see all the challenge rules. We would love to see your layouts using our sketch.  Our Sketch Challenge is open to everyone and you may use any supplies you have on hand.  You do not need to be a member of our kit club to participate nor do you  have to use any specific products.  Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch, but we do want to be able to look at your layout and tell that you used the sketch.

Be Blessed!
