So, what do you think of all this fabulous-ness? Does it make your heart beat just a tiny bit faster?

I now have another layout to share with you, This is sister #2 in the medley of 4. Her name is Austin and she is as cute as a button! This girl is an animal lover.... especially horses! She has fabulous brown eyes that would melt anyone's heart! The clothes she wore in this photo were just perfect for the April Kit.
I did  a lot of  stenciling on this layout, and border punching as well. The flowers and the resin pieces in the kit were just perfect as well! To create this layout I used the Main Kit, the Flower Add on, the Embellishment Add on and the MMM Kit. From my stash: stencils, light molding paste, gesso, Archival ink, stamps.

Thanks for stopping by! Please stop by the C'est Magnifique store as they still have a few Main kits available, and a couple of the flower and embellishment add ons!

Stay tuned for the release of the April sketch and my take on it on April 1! You won't want to miss it!
Be Blessed!

First Layouts with the April Kit from C'est Magnifique!

Hi! I am so excited to be able to share with you some of the layouts I created with the AWESOME April Kit! I have always been intimidated scrapping with the color purple because I thought that the shades had to match exactly, and I learned that that was just not true! Such freedom! The April kit just blew my socks off and liberated me at the same time. I just KNOW you will love working with this kit!

My first layout I want to share is about me. I don't often scrap pictures of myself, but sometimes its just necessary! I love this photo that was taken in Novemeber during a mini photo shoot our family had. Just look how good the purple of my jacket went with the kit! Who knew? lol  I just love the Blue Fern Studios circle frame chippie that came in the Embellishment add on, and I used all the cool products from the MMM Kit to colorize it.

To create this layout, I used the Main Kit. the Flower Add on, the Embellishment Add on, and the MMM Kit. From my stash I used: stencil, light molding paste, gesso, Archival ink, distress ink, stamp, cardstock, black marker.

The next 2 projects I am sharing with you, as well as the last 2 later on are featuring 4 beautiful sisters! This one is featuring Madden[Maddy] who is the oldest of the bunch. She is so photogenic! I wanted to do something a little different and decided to use a clipboard for the base of my layout! I wanted to do something really funky and fun using alot of the mixed media elements of the MMM Kit! I painted the base with the purple and blue paints, and then did a white crackle finish over it. I missed some areas so the base colors could come through more. I then proceeded to go crazy using the mask from the MMM kit and paints, and light molding paste and gesso. I then did some stamping. I changed the color color of the blue rose from the Flower Add on, painting it purple. I cut the Blue Fern Chippie from the Main Kit in half and used it in a funky way.

To create this unique layout I used the Main Kit, the Flower Add on, the Embellishment Add on, and the MMM Kit From my stash I used: stencil, light molding paste, Archival ink, stamp, leaves,

My last layout for today features Blaine, she is number 3 on the totem pole! She is shy and quiet, as she has 2 older sisters to do the talking for her! I wanted this layout to be fun and young and cute, just like Blaine. I used a number of border punches, and kept this more traditional then way out there. Some mixed media, but not too much. There are SO MANY flowers with this kit and the add ons, and I made good use of them on ALL my layouts! Yummy! Here again, I changed some of the blue roses in the Flower Add on, using some of the paints from the MMM Kit.

To create this layout, I used the Main Kit, the Flower Add on, the Embellishment Add on, and the MMM Kit. From my stash I used: stencils, light molding paste, gesso, Archival Ink,Distress Ink, stamps, cheese cloth.

I hope you enjoyed what I had to share with you today! I will be back on March 30 th and April 1st to share my final 2 layouts with you! Thanks for stopping by!

Be Blessed!

So Shy ~C'est Magnifique Kits March Sketch~

Today I get to show you the layout I made using the March sketch from C'est Magnifique kits. This was a fun sketch to work with, and its amazing all the different interpretations that came from it! This sounds silly, but I don't even know the name of this little girl....she was a flower girl in a destination wedding one of my scrappy friends had very recently, and she gave me permission to use it. I thought it was the most adorable photo, and knew immediately what my title would be.

I used the resist side of the UHK Papers, Winter is Coming-Butterfly Effect. I used some distress inks and lots of gelatos, over top of the masking I did with the Prima mask and modeling paste. To create this page, I used the Main Kit, the Flower add on, the Embellishment add on, and the MMM Kit add on. From my stash I used: stencil, light modeling paste, gesso, Rock Candy Distress Paint, gelatos, distress ink, metal die, mists, Crackle Accents.

You can really see some of the detail here, and the resists shows the butterflies.

This is the sketch designed by Michele Singh. Inspiring, isn't it?

We would love for you to show us how you would use this month's sketch.  Our sketch challenge is open to everyone and there are no required products.  You may use one of our kits, but you do not need to be a member of our kit club to participate.  You are welcome to use whatever you have in your scrapbook stash.  Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch, but we do want to look at your layout and be able to see that you used the sketch.

What would a challenge be without prizes, and we have 2 of them!  The winners will be selected by a random draw.  The first prize is this collection of paper, flowers, chipboard, stamps, lace and embellishments.  The winner of the prize package will also be able to shop in the C'est Magnifique Store, and have their purchases sent with the prize package, so that means you won't have to pay for shipping.
Here is this month's prize package:

Our second prize, a $10 gift certificate to the C'est Magnifique Store,  will be awarded randomly to one of our participants who obviously uses one of our kits to create their Sketch Challenge layout.
We will also chose 5 (or maybe more) layouts to feature on our blog!
You have the entire month of March to submit your layout.

What do you have to do to enter our sketch challenge?

1.  You must be a follower of our blog.  It's easy to become follower -see the left sidebar on the CM Blog.

2.  Create a layout using the sketch, and add it to our blog using the Inlinkz tool on the CM Blog.  Please link to the blog post where you have uploaded your layout  (not your general blog address). If you do not have a blog, you may link to an online gallery.

Deadline for entering the sketch challenge is midnight, March 31, 2014 (US time).
Have fun with the sketch.  We can't wait to see how you use it!

Please enter a link to the blog post where your sketch layout is posted (not the address of your blog).  Also provide your first and last name.  You will be asked to enter your e-mail address, but it will not be published.
