Its another reveal Friday at Stuck on U Sketches! We've been having wonderful fall weather here in central Canada! I want to share a layout I made from a photo shoot my niece Kimberly did of her 2 daughters at the beginning of Sept. I used one of the new lines by Prima called Tea Thyme. So very droolworthy!
This layout features Cassidy and Lucia, dressed in their very cute tu-tu's and Cassidy wearing fairy wings. I could not resist this photo!
This is the wonderful sketch we had to work with this week designed by our very own talented Sandi Clarkson! [Yay Sandi!] I had lots of fun with this layout cause I knew it would work with some new techniques I wanted to try out.
here you can see the large flower cluster I put together. I made the 3 pleated flowers out of pattern paper from the collection.
i did a bit of fussy cutting and stuck it and the Prima flower behind the rolled edges of the two paper strips.
I used some more yummy Dusty Attic chippies, this time some fern leaves in various sizes. I just painted them with Gesso and white paint
.
you can see from this photo on the grey paper that I used a mask made by Prima and used Light Molding Paste, and also add some pieces of ripped paper from a antique book.
I touched all the flowers and other embellishments with Gesso adding to the shabby chic look.
I added a piece of open zipper with a piece of doily and a Prima wooden clock, followed with some tiny roses from I am Roses. Don't you just love those new zipper pulls from Prima? I had to add one of those too, of course!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have been inspired even if only in some small way. Head on over to the Stuck on U Sketches blog and check out what the other designers have made, and please give this sketch a try! I doesn't disappoint, plus it gives you a chance to have your work displayed on the blog in top 3! Have a blessed weekend!
